The flavour of the middle east in a rub. Za'atar Rub is made with spices and seasoning like cumin, onion, thyme and the lemon flavoured sumac. Traditionally it's sprinkled on flatbread, or pita chips brushed with oil before baking. Make a marinade for lamb or chicken by mixing it with pomegranate molasses and olive oil. Use it as a garnish along with flavoured oil on squash or sweet potato soup.
